If you do not want to feel guilty because Ramen's a fatty dish then THIS IS THE PLACE you're looking for.
I'll start with the chicken based soup (correction of my past review ). I love how perfectly salted it was and certainly a lot lighter than any ramen place I have reviewed.
I had the Delux Miso Ramen so it came loaded with vegetable toppings like green beans, cabbage, corn....
Ramen's always been my go to dish during the winters. Ironically, it's a fresh bowl of ramen that can be enjoyed during the summer cause of all these crunchy yet perfectly cooked vegetables.
All in all a lovely experience that'll continue to be there for me cause of the fantastic service I got Amazing Ramen Shop vibes and very considerate staff. Can't wait to go back -

This is a nice place on denman which is quite close to the bus stop that drops you off right by Stanley park. A couple friends and I decided to get lunch here before walking around the park, and fortunately the wait was quite small. I usually expect a 10-15 minute outdoor wait from ramen places downtown, but we were seated in 2 minutes, and got our food in 15. The menu had a decent amount of selection, and I remember getting a coupon for free gyoza the next time I come mmmm.
I ordered the Bamboo Charcoal Dark Miso ($13) which was a different broth than what I usually expected from a ramen joint. I don't know if it was the Bamboo stalks or the charcoals that gave it a thick rich taste, but I liked the broth flavoring better than alot of other average priced ramen places I had gone too. Didn't get too much meat or egg which was a bit dissappointing, but the noodles were quite tasty and the price was pretty low.
With the overwhelming number of ramen places in Vancouver, this one stood out for the one dish I had, and the quick service I was offered. The interior was also pretty cool with short wooden chairs and nice wall decorations. It's somewhere I will keep in mind next time I'm in the denman area, but it's not somewhere I'll seek out. Decent 4/5 -

I heard from a friend that there was a ramen place that served bamboo charcoal as a type of base. That type of unique dish definitely piqued my interest. I finally found the time to head out and try this awesome sounding dish.
I tried out the bamboo charcoal dark miso broth with extra pork belly. I'm gonna be honest and say I didn't really detect much different from this broth to a normal one. My palate might be bad or I might have burned my tongue on the very first sip, one or the other. I still very much liked the broth. It was delicious to drink and it didn't mitigate the experience. The pork was good as well and I enjoyed the noodles as well.
I don't think I can say I had the amazing experience I had hyped up for myself but it was still a good one. Definitely drop by if you're in the area and up for a nice bowl of ramen. -

An average ramen joint..nothing particularly special. Came in during a weekday dinner and it was pretty empty so we got seated right away. Price was decent and the portion size was on the lower end of the adequate side. The ramen itself wasnt as hot as i would have appreciated and overall there wasn't anything about the food that would entice me to actively come back.

We quite like this little place on the Coal Harbour side of Denman and Robson. The service is great. The prices are higher than some others nearby but I think the quality is worth it.
My favourite: Vegetable Spicy Charcoal Ramen.
Try any of the Charcoal Ramen, I was sooooo hesitant because it did not sound like something I would enjoy, but my cousin convinced me to check it out and I really liked it.
